This month we stay (always undercover) in a suite at the Sun Street Hotel, steps from Liverpool Street Station and Broadgate Circle.

Lovely décor and luxury materials
Bed
Seemed more of a double than a king-size - certainly too small for a suite of this caliber.
Bathroom / shower room
Quirky top design, amazing shower with very good pressure and instant hot water!
Breakfast in room (£43) as add on was delicious
Hotel Design
Lovely lobby, large lifts, superbly appointed communal areas and bars. The in-house restaurant is Peruvian (Lima)
Check in / check out
Free early check in (12:15 pm, and £20 1h late check out, 12:00), smooth online process.
Electronics
2x TVs with Chromecast, free WIFI, fast hairdryer, steam iron
the hotel adds a 5% discretionary night service charge at check out
Tea / coffee facilities
Illy coffee machine with pods (inside the wardrobe) and kettle with coffee / teas and milk available. 2 free bottles of water.
Linen
Soft thick towels, robes, slippers, very fine bedding
Toiletries
Penhaligon's Quercus! this for me was a wow moment.
Minibar
Sparse and fridge not cooling down, very frustrating
Lighting
Too low lighting at times (bedroom) and a few bulbs out.
